THE NAQAAB GIRL

Urvashi Sharma, the leading lady of the film Naqaab,the new discovery of the Bollywood has been signed for an eight-film contract with TIPS Films, who is also producing Naqaab. TIPS in the past has launched potent actors such as Preity Zinta, Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao, and are once more launching another stunner in looks and performance – Urvashi Sharma.

Like most A-list heroines in Bollywood, Urvashi too started her career as a model. Having been the face of PONDS, TBZ and Garnier, Urvashi soon conquered the modeling circuit by Urvashi Sharma’s sheer beauty, grace and professionalism. With striking features and poise Urvashi Sharma rapidly made her way into Bollywood and bagged an eight-film contract with TIPS Films.

Naqaab, directed by master of the thriller genre’ Abbas-Mustan, being her very first film, Urvashi Sharma exudes terrific screen presence, which is, clearly noticed in the promos. Even though Urvashi Sharma is portraying a fundamental character in this thriller, Urvashi Sharma has maintained a very low profile in media. Urvashi Sharma has refrained from giving any interviews or photo ops to media prior the release of her debut, while most newcomers today are exposed way too much before the release of their debut.

So why is Urvashi Sharma who should be grabbing utmost media coverage right now kept under wraps? Ramesh Taurani, head honcho of TIPS Music justifies this as a part of a strategy thought through by them. He explains that, ” Urvashi’s character is integral to the central plot of the film, and by far we have kept her under wraps. We want the audience to judge her performance unbiased.”

Today the audience is bombarded with new actors almost every Friday; Urvashi is very much in this race of Bollywood but is here to prove her worth only through her acting prowess. Urvashi Sharma has not only made an impact on the producers, but as a newcomer has also made a tremendous impact on her co-stars, Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna.

The mystery revolves around Urvashi, although this character would have demanded a seasoned actor, Akshaye Khanna defends that, Naqaab needed a girl with no image and Urvashi is the perfect find, Urvashi Sharma’s face and body language suits the part.” Bobby Deol concludes by saying that, “it was a pleasure working with Urvashi and for a newcomer she is supremely confident and professional”. We certainly see the spark in Urvashi and from the promos of Naqaab, she ain’t that far from super stardom!

Rani Mukherjee is going to marry Aditya Chopra?

A strong and the latest rumor in Bollywood is that, Rani Mukherjee who have  millions of fans, that she looks to have decided to be engaged with some lucky guy despite her denial and the rebuff on the other side of the guy with whom the rumor is attached.

Sending shock waves across the nation, the unconfirmed reports of the engagement of Bollywood’s reigning queen with ace filmmaker Aditya Chopra became one of the most talked subject!Suddenly, people forgot all about Abhisekh-Aishwarya’s post marriage appearances and became hungry for latest gossip about the newly found alliance. However, in this case the rumours were not restricted to their engagement, they also hinted at rifts between Yash Chopra and his son over this alliance.

According to reports, the patriarch of Chopra clan was not happy over Aditya’s divorce with his wife Payal, who is believed to be still very close with both Yash Chopra and Pamela Chopra.

While all this kept many phones engaged, those supposedly in the thick of things have begun their attempts of denials.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee, costume designer for Laga Chunari Mein Daag : “What? Who got engaged? Rani? Are you joking? No, this is just a rumor. I have been with her all day long and she never told me anything.” Monica Bhattacharya, spokesperson Yash Raj: “The family knows about this rumor and they are very calm about it. Why react to something that is not true?”

Pradeep Sarkar: “What rubbish! No engagement has happened. I was with Rani the whole day. So when did she get engaged?”

JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM is the story of two young couples who fall into a complicated quadrangle that leads to a lovely mess.

Abhishek Bachan plays Rikki Thukral – a hardcore Punjabi, who is born in Bhatinda, living in London.

Preity Zinta is Alvira Khan – more Brit than the Queen herself, however with Lahori blood in her veins.’Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ promises to be a very sleek and stylish movie revolving around four young characters played by Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol.Main Actors and actress are Abhishek Bachchan (Rikki Thukral), Preity Zinta (Alvira Khan), Lara Dutta (Anaida), Bobby Deol (Steve) and Amitabh Bachan appeared in the film with a special appearence.
