Miss Kerala Contest

Miss Kerala is a well known and beautiful event in kerala. The Miss Kerala 2009 is scheduled on today August 5th 2009. In Miss Kerala, the Keralities can participate. Its not only by residents but from abroad also. the Miss Kerala foundation was founded on 1999. Miss kerala is a real festival of Women. By attending these type of programs, it will help a lot to change the image and the attitude of the Kerala Girls. This Miss Kerala will help the Young women to show their talents. This is not only a beauty or body show. It have different rounds for performing and showing the talents. The different Miss Keralas till 2007 are Swapna Menon, Ranjini Haridas, Nova Krishnan, Ranjini Menon, Reshma George, Jovita Tess George, Rohini Mariam Idiculla. In 2008 the beautiful girls who got the 1st three places are Shree Thulasi, Rima Kallingal and Ann Joseph. Now Rima Kallingal is one of the top model and the famous actress after the Miss Kerala 2008. After the priliminary round, there are four rounds in the final round of Miss Kerala. Vivel is the official title sponcer of the Vivel Miss Kerala 2009.

The 21 finalists of the Miss Kerala 2009 are Amalda Joseph, Amrutha Madhu, Anjusha, Archana Nair, Bhavya, Bonny Mary, Chinnu joe, Geethu Christie, Jaimy, Malavika Gales, Nileena, Ninin E Kassim, Primrose, Priya Joby, Priyanka Rao, Priyanka Sayinath, Rose Lona, Rubila, Shringa, Sruthi Sathyan and Tina Lincoln.

Now the controversies are also started with the Miss Kerala Event. The controversies related with Miss Kerala 2009 are, its not a Kerala traditional show. And the high content of sex and all.  Many complaints related with the looks, dress, walk and all.  And it will be really a big Business too. The another controversie related with Miss Kerala are, the organisors are trying to make the agreements with the girls who have just 16 years also. Any way by these controversies, High Court of Kerala is also watching this program due to the complaints.  And the representatives of High Court is also coming to watch the show and will give the report to the court after the show. They will check the Miss Kerala is conducting as per the rule or not. Any way these controversies help the Miss Kerala to get more publicity too. So now we have to wait for the Miss Kerala 2009 winners. We have to hope that, the controversies will be over soon and no new controversies will happen.
