Yaroslava Shvedova is a young girl from Kazakhstan. But she was born in Moscow in Russia in 12th September 1987. Currently Yaroslava Shvedova is 55th in the Woman’s ATP Tennis rankings. She won against the top seeded(5th) Jelena Jankovic in the second round by the score of 6-3, 6-7, 7-6.  In the third round Yaroslava Shvedova will face an unseeded player. Yaroslava Shvedova also entered to the second round of the Women’s Doubles with her partner Ipek Senoglu from Turkey. This is Yaroslava Shvedova’s second US open, and we have to hope that, after this US open, her rank will be improve.
