Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino is elected as Miss World 2009. Miss World 2009 winner Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino in Johannesburg, South Africa has a great history of winning some of other beauty competitions like Miss Gibraltar 2009, Miss World Beach Beauty 2009. Miss World Europe 2009, etc. Miss World 2008 winner Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia crowned her as the 2009 Miss World winner. Kaiane Aldorino had to overcome the seven contestants in the final round and the seven final contestants were Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino, Miss Mexico Perla Judith Beltran, Miss South Africa Tatum Lucy, Miss France Chloe Mortaud, Miss Canada Lena Ma, Miss Colombia Daniela Ramos and Miss Panama Nadege Herrera.

The winner 2009 Miss World Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino is a Gibraltarian amateur dancer too. She was also crowned Miss Gibraltar 2009. Before being the Miss Gibraltar 2009, she was a human resources clerk at St Bernard’s Hospital in Gibraltar. Aldorino at the Alameda Open Air Theatre was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2009 on 27 June 2009. Aldorino was the first Miss Gibraltar ever to be crowned Miss World and she just can be proud of it though she isn’t.  This is significant that she was also the first Gibraltarian contestant to reach the beauty show’s finals after receiving the label of Miss World Beach Beauty.

At the end of the two hour competition the judging panel chose Kaiane Aldorino to crown the Miss World crown. Though it was her aim and desire to be the Miss World, she at first could not believe when the fact was announced officially. That’s why she clapped her hands to her mouth as soon as she realized her victory. She was wordless to express her happiness to the world and to those loved her and prayed for her. She remained speechless for a while and this is very obvious for anyone at this stage. She also promises to do her best to serve the world as she is a clerk from the British Territory on the tip of the Iberian Peninsula. She adds that she can now do her responsibility better as she has the advantage of being the Miss World 2009 beauty queen. . It is important to note that the former Miss World and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra handed over the Miss World 2009 crown to Miss Gibraltar and the she Gibraltar was crowned by Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova her successor.
