The most awaited Hindi film Rocket Singh releases on 11th December 2009. Rocket Singh the Salesman of the Year starred by Ranbir Kapoor as a Sikh is to rock the theatres with lots of comic scenes in Rocket Singh from tomorrow. Lots of ‘sardarji’ jokes are expected in this latest movie of Ranbir Kapoor though it’s a very simple film. The latest Bollywood film Rocket Singh has no foreign actress to furnish. Rather it a story about a guy who has just passed out of his college studies and becomes a salesman.

It is a fact that the Yash Raj films have brought many a talented actresses to Bollywood. And they are to repeat the same in the latest Yashraj film Rocket Singh. The heroine of Rocket Singh is not yet revealed and she will be a surprise to the audience on the releasing day of Rocket Singh. The salesman Ranbir Kapoor in Rocket Singh becomes one just after passing his graduation with a minimum pass mark.

It is interesting to know that Rocket Singh the Salesman of the year was screened at the International film festival at Dubai on December 11. Shimit Amin the director of Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Hindi film and the Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’s screenplay writer Jaideep Sahni under Yahraj films along with Ranbir, Shehnaz Padamsee and Gauhar Khan’s lead roles are quiet sure of the success of the movie. That’s why they don’t give attention to it advertisements. Ranbir also says that he did this role in order to have a variety role as the character demands it.

The Rocket Singh lyrics by Jaideep Sahni were composed by Salim-Sulaiman which was released on December 4th. It is important to note that it is really a challenge to be a hit as the budget of the film was just Rs. 5 crores. This may be another reason that it has no much popularity by advertising unlike the other movies. Having been shot entirely in India itself this may be the Christmas Bollywood hit. The youngsters of India may also have a lot to learn from the honest salesman Ranbir in Rocket Singh.
